Born in Jordan. A self taught watercolorist. Ghalia’s nostalgic paintings depict everyday life under realistic backdrops of urban and natural landscapes. There is never a single meaning, there is always a story of someone living in that house. Someone who grew up  in  one of those buildings. Someone who is going to wear the laundry that’s hanging by the window. 

Feelings and sometimes tears are connected to places and Ghalia wants to bring it all out in full color. Ghalia is married to a Lebanese and has two children.  Lived in Amman, Beirut and Dubai!  Ghalia is an artist by day and an MMA judge by night! She is also the first Arab female to be awarded a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu.
