Compact 2, highlights the uncomfortable by isolating the breasts and upper belly of an anonymous body. By capturing the subject of a seemingly aging body, the artist highlights an "uncomfortable" perception by society and flips it on its head. The concrete is manipulated into soft fields, delicate wrinkles, and irregular shapes, making a beautiful abstract work from an uneasy topic.
